June 10: East Aurora Music Festival

40+ bands, 14 venues, food trucks and more rocking around the clock to benefit local organizations. This year, East Aurora Music Fest is fundraising for:

  • People & Places
  • The Aurora Ice Association
  • WNY Heroes
  • East Aurora Schools Music Boosters.

June 17-18: Juneteenth Festival

The Juneteenth Festival of Buffalo, NY is an important component of summertime events in the Buffalo-Niagara region.

Juneteenth of Buffalo, Inc. exists exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Staffed by volunteers, its mission is to actively preserve and promote the broad spectrum of African American heritage through educational and cultural activities that will benefit the community as a whole. Juneteenth Festival, Inc. partners with existing organizations with similar community-based objectives to help achieve its mission.

July 8-9: Taste of Buffalo

Over 55 restaurants, 5 wineries and 450,000 invited guests gathered in downtown Buffalo to enjoy “fun by the forkful.” One of the region’s signature events, the Taste of Buffalo presented by TOPS is the largest two-day food festival in the United States.

Celebrated by attendees from all over New York, Southern Ontario, Pennsylvania and Ohio as well as visitors from across the country and around the globe, the Taste features cuisine just as varied. From Indian to Polish, Italian to Chinese, the Caribbean to Irish, there is something to please every taste bud.

Every Tuesday, April 11th, 2017 through October 3, 2017: Food Truck Tuesday

Every Tuesday in Larkin Square dozens of food trucks from Buffalo, Rochester and beyond come together to celebrate a night of food, music and fun! Enjoy live music on The Boardwalk plus beer, wine and other beverages offered by Larkin Square at locations throughout the Square.

Every Monday through August 25: M&T Plaza Event Series

It’s the longest running FREE concert series in Buffalo and it’s back for it’s 48th season! Workers and patrons in Downtown Buffalo can enjoy a fee concert over their lunch hour every weekday through the summer! The entertainers are just as diverse as the crowds! It’s an awesome event that M&T has been doing for the community for a long time and that says a lot about the company who is able to fill 54 slots with great entertainment.

Thursdays on a rotating basis, through the month of September: Food Truck Thursdays in Niagara Square

Started by Mayor Byron Brown, Food Truch Thursdays feature 24 participating vendors that will take part in the program on a rotating basis! Head on down during your lunch hour and enjoy the best food trucks that Buffalo has to offer! Food Truck Thursdays will go from 11am – 3pm every Thursday through September!
